Culinaria Banatica

Culinaria Banatica is an innovative cultural and gastronomy project in Timișoara that revitalizes the rich culinary tradition of the Banat. Launched in 2023 and founded by Caius Merșa and the Horetim Association, the initiative blends traditional cooking with modern gastronomy. Through workshops and tastings, it not only preserves the culinary heritage but also bridges the gap between the past and the present. The project places special emphasis on local ingredients and traditional products that reflect the unique culture of the region. A strong network of restaurants and local producers supports this movement, which goes beyond just gastronomy.
